Datwyler in Querétaro, Mexico seeks an MES Specialist to optimize manufacturing by supporting, maintaining, and enhancing our Manufacturing Execution System. You will collaborate with global MES, IT, operations, and cross-functional teams to boost efficiency, traceability, and system integration across manufacturing sites.

Ideal candidates hold a technical degree and 1–2 years in MES implementation, with knowledge of ISA-95 and SAP/SCADA/PLC systems.

• Bachelors degree in engineering, CS, or related field required.
• 1-2 years experience with MES implementation, configuration, or optimization.
• Basic MES software knowledge and ISA-95 framework familiarity.
• Experience with SAP, SCADA, or PLC is a plus.
• Understanding of batch-oriented manufacturing and quality control.

Responsabilidades

• Design, implement, and optimize MES strategies aligned with manufacturing goals.
• Configure, maintain, and troubleshoot MES software and hardware.
• Roll out global MES solutions across the Americas.
• Integrate MES with ERP, SAP, SCADA, and PLC systems.
• Monitor data accuracy, reliability and regulatory compliance.
• Identify optimization opportunities and automate processes with MES.
• Develop training materials for MES users and ensure user adoption.
• Document MES configurations, procedures, and workflows.
• Collaborate with global MES team on international projects.
• Provide occasional on-call support.

MES Specialist

We are looking for an MES Specialist to join our ICT Hub in Querétaro, Mexico. In this role, you will help optimize manufacturing processes by supporting, maintaining, and enhancing our Manufacturing Execution System. You will work closely with global MES, IT, operations, and cross-functional teams to improve efficiency, quality, traceability, and system integration across our manufacturing operations.

Key Responsibilities

• Support the design, development, and implementation of MES strategies aligned with manufacturing objectives.
• Assist with the configuration, maintenance, and troubleshooting of MES software and hardware.
• Support the rollout of Datwyler’s global MES solution to manufacturing locations throughout the Americas.
• Collaborate with IT and operations teams to integrate MES with systems such as ERP, SAP, SCADA, and PLC.
• Monitor data accuracy, system reliability, and compliance with applicable standards and regulations.
• Analyze manufacturing processes and identify opportunities for optimization and automation using MES tools.
• Implement best practices to improve efficiency, reduce waste, and increase production throughput.
• Develop and deliver training materials and programs for MES key users.
• Maintain documentation of MES configurations, procedures, workflows, and system changes.
• Collaborate with the global MES team and support international projects as needed.
• Provide occasional on-call support.

What We’re Looking For

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field.
• One to two years of relevant experience, including internships or early-career experience involving MES implementation, configuration, support, or optimization.
• Basic knowledge of MES software platforms and the ISA-95 architecture framework.
• Basic knowledge of SAP, SCADA, or PLC systems is an advantage.
• Familiarity with batch-oriented manufacturing processes.
• Understanding of manufacturing processes and quality control.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• High level of commitment, responsibility, and flexibility.
• Proficiency in English.
• Ability to collaborate effectively with regional and global teams.

What We Offer

• 12 days of vacation, increasing in accordance with the Federal Labor Law.

• Year-end bonus equivalent to 30 days of salary per year worked.
• Grocery vouchers equal to 10% of monthly salary, subject to the applicable legal cap.
