Springs Window Fashions seeks an MES Developer I in Reynosa, Mexico. You will design, develop, and implement manufacturing systems, utilizing strong analytic skills and a solid technical background.

You will define user requirements, participate in design reviews, and contribute to testing and production deployments while maintaining coding standards and SDLC discipline.

Formación

• 2 to 3+ years experience in Information Technology.
• Minimum of 1 year development experience using Microsoft Visual Studio Suite
• Minimum of 1 year programming experience in an object-oriented SOA Environment
• Minimum of 1 year of .NET, C#, ASP.NET & AJAX experience
• Minimum of 1 year of Microsoft SQL Server development
• Experience designing graphical user interfaces (Winforms / Webforms) and user interactions
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to interact with all levels of the team.
• Ability to learn quickly and independently in a technically complex environment
• Ability to troubleshoot and modify existing code to respond to high priority requests
• Strong understanding of OOP and SDLC and experience in all phases of development

Description

Position Specific Mission

The MES Developer I possesses excellent analytical, planning skills and a solid technical background. Works in a team environment to design, develop and implement systems for manufacturing. Key to performing this job well is an understanding of the company and the user's requirements and the ability to translate this into a systems solution. Understands technical specifications written by senior development staff. Develops high quality and highly efficient programs. Performs systems analysis and occasionally has direct user or vendor contact in performing his/her duties.

Position Specific Objectives/Expected Outcomes

60% Application Development Responsibilities:

• Works closely with users in defining user requirements and developing functional specifications on small projects.
• Participates in application design reviews for applications being developed.
• Actively participates in application programming development.
• Maintains existing application software code and integration components.
• Assists in user and system testing activities.
• Participates in production implementation of tested applications.
• Adheres to SWF programming and quality assurance standards/methodology.
• Participates in supporting applications used by functional area he/she supports

30% Project Support Responsibilities:

• Organizes and manages individual projects or portions of large projects. This includes the identification of project tasks, organization of project teams, and development of detailed project work plans.
• Oversees the technical management of the project and ensures project efforts are coordinated to meet project objectives, budgets, and completion dates.
• Oversees the support effort for assigned production systems.
• Reports to management on support efforts and issues.
• Maintains a high degree of technology awareness of hardware and software in areas of project responsibility.
• Participates in evaluation of new software products and processes for functional area/he/she supports.

5% Team Support Responsibilities:

• Works on teams and building teaming skills as part of IDP. (Individual Development Plan)
• Participates in team meetings as an active member in team activities
• Provides status report to manager on projects as required.

5% Support Responsibilities:

• Maintains on-call calendar with his/her availability time.
• Participates in on-call duties, addressing issues in timely manner and guiding or training Help Desk on issue resolution.

Requirements

Position Specific Requirements (Education, Experience)

• 2 to 3+ years experience in progressive experience in Information Technology.
• Minimum of 1 years of development experience using Microsoft Visual Studio Suite
• Minimum of 1 years programming experience in an object-oriented SOA Environment
• Minimum of 1 years of .NET, C#, ASP.NET& AJAX experience
• Minimum of 1 years of Microsoft SQL Server development
• Experience designing graphical user interfaces (Winforms / Webforms) and user interactions
• Excellent communication skills (verbal and written) and the ability to interact with all levels of the team.
• Ability to learn quickly and independently and to work in a technically complex environment
• Ability to troubleshoot and modify existing code in a timely manner to respond to high priority requests.
• Ability to engage in concurrent scheduled project/development tasks
• Strong understanding of OOP (object orientated programming) and strong development skills working in a team
• Strong knowledge of the SDLC (systems development life cycle) and solid experience in all phases of systems development.
• Experience leading small sized projects.
• Strong knowledge of company operations and business area being supported.
• Excellent business problem solving ability.
