Vertiv Reynosa site is seeking an Occupational Health professional to provide technical, clinical and administrative support to the Occupational Physician, ensuring correct execution of medical and occupational activities and compliance with regulations and quality standards.

• Assist the Occupational Physician in the planning, organization, and monitoring of medical department activities.
• Provide support in administering new hire assessments.
• Carry out the annual work plan in accordance with applicable regulations.
• Provide support in the monitoring and evaluation of POE’s.
• Provide support to nursing staff in keeping medical records and related documentation up to date.
• Provide general medicine consultations.
• Handling of accidents and incidents
• Monitor compliance with the objectives and indicators established by management.
• Follow up on action plans resulting from internal and external audits.
• Conduct occupational medical evaluations when required by operations.
• Review and validate occupational medical records.
• Assist in the evaluation of medical cases and notify the medical lead for follow-up and management.
• Participate in the investigation of work accidents and occupational diseases.
• Coordinate referrals and follow-up for workers with restrictions or requiring special monitoring.
• Support the implementation of new medical procedures, protocols, and programs.

POSITION SUMMARY

• Provide technical, clinical, and administrative support to the Occupational Physician, ensuring the proper execution of clinical and occupational activities, as well as compliance with medical protocols, current regulations, and the quality standards established by the organization./ Brindar soporte técnico, clínico y administrativo al Responsable Médico, asegurando la correcta ejecución de las actividades asistenciales y ocupacionales, el cumplimiento de los protocolos médicos, la normativa vigente y los estándares de calidad establecidos por la organización.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Assist the Occupational Physician in the planning, organization, and monitoring of medical department activities. /Asistir al responsable Médico en la planificación, organización y seguimiento de las actividades del área médica.
• Provide support in administering new hire assessments. /Dar soporte en la realización de exámenes de nuevo ingreso
• Carry out the annual work plan in accordance with applicable regulations. /Dar cumplimiento a plan anual de trabajo en base a la normatividad aplicable
• Provide support in the monitoring and evaluation of POE’s. (occupationally exposed personnel) /Dar soporte en la vigilancia y evaluación de los POE’s
• Provide support to nursing staff in keeping medical records and related documentation up to date. /Dar soporte en conjunto con el personal de enfermería en mantener actualizados y la documentación en relación a los registros médicos
• Provide general medicine consultations. /Dar consulta de medicina general
• Handling of accidents and incidents/ Atención en manejo de accidentes e incidentes
• Monitor compliance with the objectives and indicators established by management. /Dar seguimiento al cumplimiento de los objetivos e indicadores establecidos por gerencia.
• Follow up on action plans resulting from internal and external audits. /Dar seguimiento a los planes de acción derivados de auditorías internas y externas.
• Conduct occupational medical evaluations when required by operations. /Realizar evaluaciones médicas ocupacionales cuando la operación lo requiera.
• Review and validate occupational medical records./ Revisar y validar historias clínicas ocupacionales.
• Assist in the evaluation of medical cases and notify the medical lead for follow-up and management. /Apoyar en la evaluación de casos médicos y notificar al responsable médico para el seguimiento y manejo.
• Participate in the investigation of work accidents and occupational diseases ./Participar en la investigación de accidentes de trabajo y enfermedades ocupacionales.
• Coordinate referrals and follow-up for workers with restrictions or requiring special monitoring. / Coordinar referencias y seguimiento de trabajadores con restricciones o vigilancia especial.
• Support the implementation of new medical procedures, protocols, and programs. /Apoyar la implementación de nuevos procedimientos, protocolos y programas médicos.
