Cummins Inc. in Mexico seeks a Medical Specialist to join the Safety/Security team on-site in Ciénega de Flores, NL. You will coordinate medical staff, respond to workplace health needs, and manage resources for Medical Services. The role requires a Medical Doctor license and availability for emergencies and shifts. Strong stakeholder management with HR and operations is essential.

Formación

• Medical Doctor with a valid professional license.
• Two or more years in General Medicine or Occupational Health preferred.
• Emergency coverage availability required.

We are looking for a talented MEDICAL SPECIALIST to join our SAFETY/SECURITY team at our global company, located in CIENEGA DE FLORES, NUEVO LEON.

Location: Blvd. Nexxus 2505 Cienega, De Flores, 65550 Mexico, N.L.

Work Modality: 100% presencial

In this role, you will make an impact in the following ways:

• Coordinate medical staff, including nursing services.
• Provide medical attention for workplace accidents, occupational health risks, and both general and work-related disabilities/incapacities.
• Manage resources for the Medical Services area.
• Maintain relationships and coordinate activities with the Mexican Social Security Institute (IMSS), Ministry of Health, and Ministry of Labor.
• Manage administrative processes with corporate teams, including procedure review, interaction with corporate stakeholders, and administration of medical services

To be successful in this role, you will need the following:

• Medical Doctor degree with a valid professional license (medical license required). Recent graduates are welcome to apply; experience in Occupational Medicine is preferred.
• Availability to respond to emergencies and provide coverage on either first or second shift, as needed.
• Strong decision-making skills and interpersonal abilities, as the role requires interaction with employees across all levels of the plant.
• Excellent patient care and stakeholder management skills, including interactions with Safety, Human Resources, Management, and external providers.
• Basic English proficiency required; intermediate English proficiency preferred.

Education, Licenses, And Certifications

• Medical Doctor with a valid professional license.

Experience

• Candidates with two or more years of experience in General Medicine or Occupational Health/Occupational Medicine will be given preference.
