Takeda Mexico is seeking an experienced Medical Science Liaison Lead to guide the MSL team, shape medical strategy, and lead cross-functional medical initiatives. You will coach, performance-manage, and align field medical activities with global plans, while ensuring compliant scientific exchange.

You will build external scientific partnerships, support evidence generation, and contribute to lifecycle management and launch readiness.

Formación

• Bachelor’s degree in medicine is required.
• Extensive Medical Affairs experience including medical strategy and field medical leadership.
• Strong leadership experience with coaching and developing teams.
• Excellent scientific communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
• Thorough knowledge of regulatory, ethical, and legal frameworks for medical activities.
• Fluency in local language (Spanish) and good command of English.

Responsabilidades

• Define MSL engagement focus, deployment and scientific narratives aligned with medical priorities.
• Ensure high-quality, compliant scientific exchange and external engagement by the MSL team.
• Synthesize medical field insights into actionable strategic input for cross-functional teams.
• Provide medical leadership for launch readiness and lifecycle management, including indication expansions.
• Build and maintain external scientific partnerships with KOLs, HCPs and scientific societies.
• Represent Medical in advisory boards, congresses and key scientific forums as appropriate.
• Support evidence generation activities (Phase IV, RWE, registries).
• Oversee development and delivery of medical education, training and scientific materials.
• Ensure all activities comply with regulatory, ethical, and company standards.

Job Description

About the role:

• Lead, coach and performance-manage the MSL team, ensuring clear objectives, prioritization and development.
• Lead and execute the local medical strategy in alignment with global and regional plans.
• Act as the medical strategic lead within cross-functional teams (Medical, Marketing, Access, Digital, Evidence).
• Provide medical leadership for launch readiness and lifecycle management, acting as a medical role model.

How you will contribute:
