AMETEK Inc. seeks a Mechanical Engineer II to design, develop, and validate mechanical components and assemblies for electronic and hardware systems.

The role involves leading multiple projects, collaborating with engineering and manufacturing teams, and guiding products from concept through production. The candidate should be hands-on, detail oriented, and capable of thriving in a fast-paced environment with high customer visibility and short development cycles.

Formación

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering is required.
• Minimum 2 years of mechanical engineering experience.
• Experience with 3D CAD (SolidWorks or equivalent) and AutoCAD.
• Experience with PCB and electronics packaging manufacturing is preferred.
• Familiarity with DFM/DFA and regulatory testing is desired.
• Strong teamwork and communication skills are essential.

Responsabilidades

• Manage multiple mechanical design projects to meet schedule and cost targets.
• Design, develop, and test mechanical components and assemblies.
• Apply engineering principles to create robust, manufacturable products.
• Build models, prototypes, and test fixtures for validation.
• Support fabrication, installation, operation, and repair of products.
