Bosch México seeks a Mechanical Design Engineer to lead regional design of electrified powertrain components and systems for the North American market traction applications. You will translate customer requirements into feasible concepts and manage design packages to meet schedule and specifications.

Responsibilities include performing tolerance analyses, delivering quality design work, and applying DFMEA/DRBFM thinking to ensure robust products.

Formación

• Minimum 5 years of experience in the automotive industry.
• Experience working with multicultural teams.
• Project management and strong communication skills.
• English advanced; German is a nice to have.
• American visa is a nice to have.

Responsabilidades

• Translate customer requirements into feasible design concepts.
• Deliver design work packages on time and to specification.
• Provide technical studies and tolerance analysis for internal and external customers.
• Ensure design quality and DFMEA/DRBFM oriented thinking throughout the project.

Mechanical Design Engineer is responsible for regional design of electrified powertrain components (Metal Stamped parts) and systems for the North American market traction applications.

We handle advanced engineering as well as production development of power electronics, electric machines, and integrated e-drive systems.

Scope of work:

Design engineer is responsible to translate customer requirements into feasible design concepts.

Responsible to deliver on time and on specification, project design work packages as required.

Part of the goals as design engineer is to provide technical studies and tolerance analysis for internal and external customers.

All activities must be oriented to quality assurance from design point of view by using engineering tools (i.e. DFMEA, DRBFM) and understanding cause-effect relationship.

Qualifications

Technical Skills:

• Fluent English (strictly Required)
• Advance NX / CATIA Knowledge (strictly required)
• Advance Knowledge of GD&T, stack up and tolerance calculations (strictly required)
• Experience working with high pressure die casting parts (strictly required)

Education:

Mechanical Engineer, Electro-Mechanical Engineer or Mechatronics Engineer.

Additional Qualifications

• Experience +5 years in the automotive industry.
• Work with multicultural and national teams
• Project managment and communication skills.
• English (Advance) German (Nice to have)
