Knorr-Bremse Group's KB Rail Mexico team in Ciudad Acuña is seeking a maintenance technician responsible for pneumatic and mechanical upkeep of production equipment. You will implement safety programs, support maintenance leadership, and help meet department metrics while working on-site.

The ideal candidate has post-secondary electromechanical training and at least five years in maintenance, with knowledge of 440V three-phase electrical installations, welding, and basic PLC.

• Minimum post-secondary education or electromechanical technician.
• 5 years of experience in maintenance.
• Knowledge of 440 Volts, three-phase electrical installations.
• Welding knowledge.
• Basic PLC knowledge.

Responsabilidades

JOB DESCRIPTION

Position Summary

Responsible for pneumatic and mechanical maintenance of the production equipment.

Essential Functions

• Implement and support to safety programs and preventive/corrective maintenance
• Provide support to maintenance leader to meet department's metrics
• Work safely using all procedures and company's personal protective equipment related to your job and which you are properly trained
• Cleanliness and order of your work area and work tool
• Support KPS TPM and Kaizen Events
• Perform all those activities that, due to the nature of the position are required

Management & Supervisory Responsibilities

• This position is NOT directly responsible for managing other employees

Knowledge

• Knowledge of Mechanic B, Mechanic A (Knowledge of 440 Volts a 3 phases Electrical installations and basic knowledge of machining and measuring equipment)
• Welding Knowledge
• PLC Basic Knowledge

Experience

• 5 Years of experience in Maintenance

Skills

• Perform hydraulic, pneumatic, and electrical designs
• Perform work or activities with little or no supervision
• Make own decisions when required
• Responsible

Education/Certifications
