Aptiv PLC in Saltillo, Mexico seeks a Process Engineer for the Housing Department to support development projects and release processes to ME flow. You will work with GD&T, maintain documentation, and ensure safety and housekeeping standards.

The role requires a mechanical/mechatronic background, understanding of electrical and mechanical drawings, and proficiency with Excel and Outlook; English proficiency around 80% is expected. This is an exciting opportunity in the automotive sector.

Formación

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical or Mechatronic Engineering or similar.
• Knowledge of electrical and mechanical concepts.
• Interpretation of electrical and mechanical drawings.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office (Excel and Outlook).
• 80% English proficiency required.

Summary (About this Position):

Process Engineer Housing Department

Your Role (i.e. Key Job Responsibilities):

• Support activities derived from development of project assigned
• Perform SOW for new projects
• Support with documentation required to release process to ME flow 5
• GD&T capabilities
• Maintain system documentation
• Maintain housekeeping/safety standards
• Knowledge in assembly process and automation

Your Required Background (i.e. Must Haves):

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Mechatronic Engineering or similar
• Knowledge of electrical and mechanical concepts
• Interpretation of electrical and mechanical drawings
• Proficient with Microsoft Office (Excel and Outlook)
• 80% English

Your Preferred Background (i.e. Nice to Haves):

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Mechatronic Engineering or similar
• Experience in mechanical measurements in a Laboratory environment
• 1+ years' experience in automotive industry validation laboratory environment
• Knowledge in Mechanical concepts (Force, Moments, Torque, Pressure, etc.)
• Familiarity with Automotive Products Validation Process and Terms.
