Siemens Energy in Querétaro, Mexico, seeks a Materials Engineer to support the full product line of aeroderivative gas turbine components. You will be part of a Materials Engineering team responsible for providing critical technical support across the full product line of Siemens Energy’s aeroderivative gas turbine products—from design and manufacturing to repair and service. In this role, your focus will be on the interaction between material properties, forging quality, downstream machining, and additional processes such as EB welding, shot peening and coating, processes, ensuring that microstructure, and surface integrity meet stringent life and performance requirements. You will work cross-functionally with Design, Manufacturing, and suppliers to deliver robust material and process solutions, with a particular emphasis on machining-induced material response and validation of finished hardware. This role offers a dynamic, fast-paced, and technically challenging environment, with opportunities to engage directly with global suppliers and manufacturing partners through occasional on-site visits.
In the Materials department of the Core Engineering function, we are committed to providing high quality technical work in support of AGT programs.
