TE Connectivity is seeking a Materials Planning Support I to collect and document supplier data, track material quantities and costs to initiate purchases that align with production schedules. You will place purchase orders in ERP systems, coordinate with production teams for accurate inventory, assist in planning purchasing strategies and KPIs, and help update standard processes and policies.

Job Overview

Collects and documents data related to suppliers, the quantity of the materials, cost of the materials for initiating purchase to meet the production schedules.

Job Requirements

• Placing the purchase orders in enterprise-wide supply chain systems to the suppliers and ordering appropriate stock levels with specific suppliers per the plan.
• Coordinating with the production teams for accurate inventory numbers and liaising with internal departments regularly to deal with discrepancies.
• Assisting the management in planning the purchasing strategies, key performance indicators, budgets, risk mitigation, cost savings, and inventory partnerships.
• Implementing, reviewing, and updating the documentation of standard processes, procedures, and internal policies.

What your background should look like

Typically requires 1-2 years of related work experience. Completion of high school, vocational training, or equivalent is preferred.
