Hitachi Energy Productos de Mexico in Reynosa is seeking a Materials Buyer to optimize inventory and support production through robust planning and P2P activities. The role collaborates with global teams and suppliers to balance service levels, working capital, and cost efficiency.

You will leverage SAP and Excel to analyze data, drive improvements, and support procurement strategy in a fast-paced, international setting.

Formación

• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Business, Engineering, Operations, or related field.
• Up to 2 years in purchasing, procurement, material planning, or supply chain ops.
• Experience with SAP or similar ERP (MM/PP).
• Strong Excel skills and data-driven decision making.
• Excellent communication and cross‑team collaboration.
• Strong organizational skills and continuous improvement mindset.

Responsabilidades

• Manage Procure-to-Pay activities for assigned material planning responsibilities.
• Ensure material availability to meet demand and schedules.
• Analyze inventory portfolios and define ABC/XYZ strategies.
• Collaborate with suppliers and category managers for cost savings.
• Maintain planning parameters in SAP (safety stock, reorder points, lead times, lot sizes).
• Support Sales & Operations Planning activities and align material forecasts across the supply chain.
• Partner with suppliers to improve delivery and resolve issues.
• Lead and support continuous improvement in planning, fulfillment, and inventory.
• Ensure compliance with applicable regulations and guidelines.
