Stellantis NV in Saltillo, Mexico seeks a Materials Handling Methods Manager to design, implement, and optimize material distribution and flow systems across the plant. The role drives continuous improvement and collaborates with logistics to improve routes and efficiency.

Responsibilities include managing returnable containers, racks, Kanban systems and FIFO inventory control, while leading capital projects and ensuring environmental and safety compliance in material storage and handling.

Formación

• Bachelor's degree in a related field is required.
• 8+ years of experience in material planning, logistics or supply chain in manufacturing.
• Strong knowledge of ERP systems, MRP processes, and inventory management.
• Excellent problem solving, organizational and communication skills.
• Ability to work cross-functionally with production, engineering, procurement and logistics.
• Bilingual in English and Spanish.

Responsabilidades

• Design, implement and optimize material distribution and flow systems.
• Lead capital projects related to material handling equipment.
• Collaborate with external logistics to optimize routes and transport.
• Ensure compliance with environmental and safety regulations in material handling.
• Manage and control inventory using FIFO principles.
• Administer CMS and manage returnable containers and racks.
• Implement Kanban and JIT systems for material flow.
• Lead teams through high-pressure launches or shortages.
• Monitor and improve internal material logistics and layouts.
