Hitachi Energy is seeking an early-career Materials Buyer to support procurement strategy and material planning. You will collaborate with global teams to optimize inventory, ensure on-time delivery, and balance cost with service levels.

The role focuses on P2P execution, supplier collaboration, and continuous improvement within a global organization. 2 years of relevant experience and strong Excel/ERP skills are preferred.

Formación

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent in a related field.
• Up to 2 years in purchasing, procurement, material planning, or supply chain operations.
• Experience with SAP or similar ERP systems (MM/PP).
• Strong Excel skills and data analysis for decision-making.
• Excellent written/verbal communication and collaboration across global teams.
• Strong organizational skills, customer focus, problem-solving, and continuous improvement mindset.

Responsabilidades

• Manage Procure-to-Pay (P2P) activities for assigned material planning responsibilities.
• Ensure material availability to support demand, production schedules, and deliveries.
• Analyze inventory portfolios and define inventory strategies (ABC/XYZ).
• Collaborate with suppliers and category managers to identify cost savings opportunities.
• Maintain planning parameters in SAP (safety stock, reorder points, lead times, lot sizes).
• Support S&OP activities and align material forecasts across the supply chain.
• Partner with suppliers to improve delivery performance and resolve supply or quality issues.
• Lead continuous improvement initiatives to enhance planning, fulfillment, and inventory performance.
• Ensure compliance with applicable regulations and internal procedures.
