Johnson Controls is seeking a Materials Buyer in Matamoros, Tamaulipas, Mexico to plan, schedule, and monitor material flow across production lines. You will develop material plans to ensure timely availability, coordinate with purchasing, production, and engineering, and manage demand schedules for multiple products.

The role requires a university degree or equivalent, at least 3 years of relevant experience, strong analytical and communication skills, and proficiency in materials management

• Plan, schedule, and monitor the movement of materials through the production cycle.

• Prepare and manage the demand production schedule for a facility with multiple product lines and/or customers.
• Collaborate with purchasing, production, engineering, and other internal partners on new product releases and long-term customer needs.
• Track material flow, support inventory control efforts, and help address shortages or schedule changes as needed.
• Oversee materials coordinators and/or analysts and support day-to-day material management processes.
