Forvia in Puebla is seeking a Logistics/Procurement professional to manage coverage reporting, prioritize plant needs, and ensure timely urgent shipments. You will coordinate transport, paperwork, and carrier communication, while documenting shipments and costs.

This role requires English plus another language, SAP and TMS familiarity, and a proactive, multi-cultural team player. You will collaborate with plants and suppliers to optimize delivery operations and participate in escalation meetings

Formación

  • Bachelor's degree in industrial, transport, or supply-chain management.
  • Experience in transport operations or material planning.
  • Knowledge of SAP and TMS tools.
  • Bi-lingual: English plus another language.
  • Strong communication, teamwork and problem-solving abilities.

Responsabilidades

  • Set up a coverage report retrieval for all impacted suppliers/plants.
  • Arbitrate priorities of plants’ needs.
  • Ensure that urgent shipments are triggered, selected, and delivered on time.
  • Troubleshoot issues that may arise during the delivery process.
  • Coordinate and execute urgent procurement/shipments, including arranging transportation.
  • Initiate premium freight and launch the bid for premium freight on stakeholder requests.
  • Communicate with plants, suppliers and carriers to ensure on-time arrival.
  • Maintain accurate records of shipments and costs.
  • Collaborate with the team to identify process improvements and optimize delivery operations.

Responsibilities
  • Set up a coverage report retrieval for all impacted suppliers/plants.
  • Arbitrate priorities of plants’ needs.
  • Ensure the correct documentation is available for suppliers/plants (inbound deliveries, manifests).
  • Ensure that urgent shipments are triggered, selected, and delivered on time.
  • Troubleshoot any issue that may arise during the delivery process.
  • Communicate additional costs due to disturbances to the Service quality and performance team.
  • Daily monitoring of suppliers in crisis through meetings/action plan and arbitration.
  • Coordinate and execute urgent procurement/shipments, including arranging transportation, tracking shipments.
  • Initiate premium freight and launch the bid for premium freight on stakeholder requests.
  • Communicate proposal of premium freight organization to the plant for validation.
  • Communicate with plants, suppliers and carriers to ensure arrival of items on-time.
  • Troubleshoot any issues (except for 3-way matches) that arise during the delivery process, including delays, damage, and other logistical problems related to transport organized.
  • Maintain accurate records of shipments, including delivery status, costs.
  • Collaborate with other team members to identify areas for process improvement and develop strategies to optimize delivery operations.
  • When necessary, active participation in escalation meetings with OEMs, providing all the data's need it.
  • Work closely with suppliers in case of arbitration needs, even if necessary to be in suppliers' facilities.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in industrial, transport, or supply‑chain management.
  • Experience in transport operations or material planning.
  • SAP and TMS tools knowledge.
  • Multi‑functional & multi‑cultural communication with the ability to communicate effectively with customers, carriers, and team members.
  • Minimum bi‑lingual (English + one other language).
  • Customer orientation / team spirit / autonomy / decision‑maker / resiliency / openness to new ideas.
  • Organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities simultaneously.
  • Strong attention to detail and the ability to identify and resolve problems quickly.Ability to work under time pressure and to work flexible hours as needed to ensure timely delivery of urgent shipments.
