Job summary

Thermo Fisher Scientific in Mexico City is seeking a Material Handler I to support global healthcare initiatives through precise inventory operations. You will receive, track, and distribute materials, maintain documentation, and ensure GMP-compliant processes while collaborating with cross-functional teams to optimize stock levels and accuracy.

This role provides hands-on experience with ERP systems, RF scanners, cycle counting, and adherence to safety protocols in a fast-paced warehouse

Qualifications

• 1 year inventory control or warehouse experience required.
• Proficiency in ERP/inventory management systems and Microsoft Office.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities for investigating discrepancies.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Experience with RF scanners and data entry systems.
• Ability to lift, push, and pull 15 to 20 kg regularly.
• Forklift and powered industrial equipment certification preferred.
• Ability to work in various temperature environments (-20 °C to 25°C).
• Knowledge of GMP and safety protocols.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively.
• Valid driver's license may be required.
• Flexibility to work various shifts and overtime as needed.
• Experience with FIFO methodology.
• Experience with cycle counting and inventory reconciliation.
• Must be able to wear required PPE including lab coats, safety glasses, and other protective equipment.
