The Opportunity
Your Impact

The Master Production Scheduler is responsible for developing the master production plan to satisfy customer demand while carrying minimum effective inventory. The role will be responsible for providing the plant with a daily production with 16 weeks horizon, the plans must be consistent with the plant capacity and sales forecast. The Master Planner is also responsible for carrying out the planning processes using PepsiCo tools, DPP, BY, SAP, and ensuring that DPP is set up properly and keep it updated. The master production scheduler will be responsible for ensuring these KPIs as follows: Fill Rate, DLS Adherence, MPS Adherence, DII, unseables, Write Off, DOH.


Responsibilities
  • Responsible for ensuring Fill Rate targets across all OUs.
  • Deliver daily production plans with 16 weeks horizon merging the tool\'s proposal and Master Planner criteria for generating the best solution for the business. (Finished Goods & Multipacks, SFG).
  • Be the supply planning point person for OU stakeholders, gather, understand and communicate the opportunities along the supply planning area, including DRP – MRP.
  • Responsible for supply planning KPIs; DLS adherence, MPS Adherence, unselables, raw material write off, DII finished goods.
  • Work along with plants to look for best practices to impact positively: true efficiency, changeovers, waste, overtime.
  • DPP set up, changes, improvements and updates must be executed by the master planner, the tool have to be aligned and updated with the plant parameters, BPM, Seasoning Matrix, Platform Matrix, Constraints, among others.
  • Calculate and communicate the agricultural needs for the upcoming 16 weeks, potato, plantain, among others.
  • Be the Supply Planning point person across all S&OP and S&OE meetings. The master planner has to communicate the supply planning risks and opportunities to the Demand Planning process.
  • Communicate to the Supply Chain local leader the finished goods unselables risks to develop an action plan to mitigate it.
  • Daily meetings along with local schedulers and plant staff to define the best strategy for ensuring customer service at the best cost, under a safety environment.
  • Weekly meetings with DRP and MRP planners to identify opportunities and set up the action plan to anticipate any fill rate impact.
  • Aligning with local schedulers, all calendars and activities that will affect plant performance: maintenance, innovations test, quality test, equipment installation, downtimes, capacity updates, renewals, holidays, etc.
