Responsibilities

• Review and validate outbound campaigns prior to deployment — content, subject lines, personalization, and dynamic elements.
• Verify audience targeting logic, segmentation, and suppression lists against specifications.
• Confirm data integrity and rendering of merge tags and personalization.
• Check links, UTM parameters, and redirect destinations for accuracy.
• Validate platform configuration — send settings, throttling, scheduling, from name/address.
• Assess campaigns against brand, compliance, and messaging strategy.
• Log defects in QA system and communicate findings to Development for resolution.
• Own QA sign-off gates in deployment workflow; campaigns do not deploy without clearance.
• Review post-launch issues and update QA frameworks and checklists.
• Maintain and improve QA documentation and testing standards.

ABOUT THE ROLE

We are looking for a Marketing QA Analyst to review and validate outbound email campaigns before they reach customers.

MUST HAVES

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
• 2+ years of experience in QA, marketing operations, or digital campaign review.
• Familiarity with email marketing platforms and QA workflows.

• Working knowledge of HTML/CSS email rendering.
• Familiarity with Salesforce Marketing Cloud or equivalent enterprise ESP.
• Experience using defect tracking tools (Jira, or similar).
• Knowledge of AMPScript or dynamic content logic in campaign platforms.

WHAT YOU WILL DO

• Review and validate all outbound campaigns prior to deployment — including email content, subject lines, personalization, and dynamic elements.

• Confirm data integrity: validate that merge tags, personalization fields, and offer content are rendering correctly for the right audiences.
• Check all links, UTM parameters, and redirect destinations for accuracy.

• Assess campaigns against brand standards, legal and compliance requirements, and messaging strategy.
• Log and track defects in the team’s QA system; communicate findings clearly to Development for resolution.
• Own QA sign-off gates in the deployment workflow — campaigns do not deploy without QA clearance.
• Review quality-related post-launch issues and feed findings back into QA frameworks and checklists.
• Maintain and improve QA documentation, checklists, and testing standards over time.
