Job summary

AgileEngine is seeking a Marketing QA Analyst to review outbound email campaigns before they reach customers. You will ensure content accuracy, validate personalization, and confirm targeting logic aligns with specifications.

In this role, you will verify data integrity, check links and tracking parameters, and enforce brand and compliance standards across campaigns. A methodical, data-driven communicator will thrive in our flexible, remote-friendly environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
• 2+ years in QA, marketing operations, or campaign review.
• Familiarity with email marketing platforms and QA workflows.
• Strong analytical eye for data, copy, and configuration.
• Understanding of audience segmentation, targeting logic, and suppression.
• Methodical, process-oriented approach; comfortable with checklists and standards.
• Clear communicator — able to describe defects precisely and escalate risks.

Responsibilities

• Review outbound campaigns prior to deployment — including email content, subject lines, personalization, and dynamic elements.
• Verify audience targeting logic, segmentation, and suppression lists against campaign specifications.
• Confirm data integrity: validate merge tags, personalization fields, and offer content render correctly for the right audiences.
• Check all links, UTM parameters, and redirect destinations for accuracy.
• Validate platform configuration — send settings, throttling, scheduling, from name/address against approved specs.
• Assess campaigns against brand standards, legal and compliance requirements, and messaging strategy.
• Log and track defects in the QA system; communicate findings clearly to Development for resolution.
• Own QA sign-off gates in the deployment workflow — campaigns do not deploy without QA clearance.
• Review quality-related post-launch issues and feed findings back into QA frameworks and checklists.
• Maintain and improve QA documentation, checklists, and testing standards over time.

ABOUT THE ROLE

MUST HAVES

• - Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
