A leading automotive company in Mexico City is seeking a Marketing Events Trainee to support the development and reporting of Dealer Marketing Plans. The ideal candidate will help execute marketing campaigns and manage budgets, requiring strong organizational and communication skills, along with a Bachelor's degree in Marketing or Business. Fluency in both English and Spanish is a must for effective collaboration with internal teams and dealers.

Formación

  • Up to 2 years of experience in marketing or sales support, preferably in automotive or retail.
  • Fluent in English and Spanish (written and spoken).
  • Proactive, detail-oriented, and able to work both independently and in a team.

Responsabilidades

  • Support the development, monitoring, and reporting of Dealer Marketing Plans.
  • Monitor dealer performance using monthly Dealer Marketing Rankings.
  • Assist in managing the motorcycle fleet and handling documentation.
  • Support the planning and execution of events and product launches.
  • Maintain accurate control of the marketing budget for Mexico.

Marketing Events Trainee

As Marketing Events Trainee you will support the development, monitoring, and reporting of Dealer Marketing Plans, ensuring alignment with quarterly priorities and NSC guidelines. You will work closely with dealers, agencies, and internal teams to ensure flawless execution of campaigns, events, and brand activities, maintaining strict budget control and compliance with corporate processes.

What awaits you?

  • Support the development, monitoring, and reporting of Dealer Marketing Plans in line with quarterly priorities and NSC guidelines.
  • Monitor dealer performance using monthly Dealer Marketing Rankings and experiential KPIs.
  • Coordinate and communicate marketing fund (COOP) status with dealers, ensuring compliance with NSC policies and timely reporting.
  • Assist in managing the motorcycle fleet, including tracking loans, coordinating maintenance, and handling documentation with Finance, Legal, and suppliers.
  • Support the planning and execution of events, product launches, sponsorships, and riding activities to ensure operational excellence and brand consistency.
  • Prepare and follow up on purchase requisitions, purchase orders, payments, and legal agreements in accordance with BMW processes (SAP, Bóveda, Docusign).
  • Maintain accurate control of the marketing budget for Mexico (MTD, YTD, Forecast).
  • Coordinate communication with dealers, internal stakeholders, agencies, and suppliers to ensure efficient information flow and timely delivery of creative materials and event requirements.

What should you bring along?

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, or related field.
  • Up to 2 years of experience in marketing or sales support, preferably in automotive or retail.
  • Strong organizational and communication skills.
  • Basic knowledge of marketing principles and budget control.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office; experience with SAP is a plus.
  • Fluent in English and Spanish (written and spoken).
  • Proactive, detail-oriented, and able to work both independently and in a team.
