JOB PURPOSE
As Director of Admissions & Marketing (DAM), you will be a member of the school Senior Leadership Team (SLT) with prime responsibility for driving student enrolment. You will ensure families receive an exceptional experience at each stage of their journey with our school—from awareness and consideration through to enrolment and advocacy. We call this our Family Experience Journey, and everything we do in MAC (Marketing, Admissions and Communications) revolves around this. You will forge strong relationships with colleagues across the school to deliver an outstanding family experience and support the school vision. As a leader, you will coach and develop the commercial, creative, and customer-oriented skills of your team and be an ambassador for the school brand. You will also play a pivotal role in building the school community and reputation.

JOB DESCRIPTION
Planning
You will understand the importance of a strong MAC plan—while staying flexible to meet school needs.
- Work with your Senior Leadership and Regional Office colleagues to set the strategic MAC direction for the school, covering admissions, brand, communications, digital, marketing and research requirements
- Manage your MAC budget to deliver maximum value
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of your market, competitors, and audiences to give your school a commercial advantage
- Oversee data integrity through CRM and compliance with group data rules, so forecasting is built on a solid foundation
- Ensure accurate forecasting for the year(s) ahead, using data and maintaining regular contact with pipeline contacts
- Stay up to date with trends in sales, marketing and communications to drive innovation
- Develop your school’s brand positioning to differentiate in the market and drive enrolment
Driving Performance
You will use data and insights to ensure MAC tactics drive enrolment performance across the school.
- Focus activity on driving enquiries and converting them to enrolment
- Ensure strong re-enrolment numbers by delivering a fantastic in-school MAC experience
- Analyse data to test and learn from brand, communications, enrolment and marketing activities, and inform decision-making
- Use Salesforce (CRM) to manage the enrolment pipeline and ensure user adoption across the team
- Track team performance through CRM and KPI metrics to identify opportunities
- Advise the SLT on interpretation of market research and guide action plans for whole school improvement
Execution
Deliver a first-class experience through leadership of complex projects, ensuring a world-class experience for families.
- Lead development and execution of best practice throughout the Family Experience Journey, collaborating with teachers, administrative staff and colleagues
- Ensure every family receives a highly personalised visit experience—physically and/or virtually
- Ensure a seamless digital experience for families, working with regional and central digital colleagues
- Recruit and develop a MAC team, coaching them to high standards across admissions, brand, communications, digital, marketing and research
- Put creativity at the heart of MAC activities to drive a strong commercial approach
- Adhere to the school Visual Identity and Tone of Voice guidelines across all materials
Building Reputation
Provide sound judgement and delivery to strengthen our reputation.
- Define a distinctive and consistent brand for the school that resonates with target audiences
- Lead development and execution of the brand framework, visual identity and tone of voice across all media
- Develop and comply with MAC procedures in line with group policies and local regulatory requirements (e.g., admissions guidelines, marketing consents)
- Oversee improvements in stakeholder communications and contribute to crisis and issues communications
- Develop external networks (feeder schools, embassies, agents) to raise awareness and target new enrolment opportunities

Job Requirements
Qualifications/ Experience/ Knowledge
- A bachelor’s degree in a relevant discipline
- A minimum of 7 years of demonstrable experience in brand-building, sales, and/or marketing roles, preferably within service delivery contexts
- Proven leadership capabilities with experience managing and mentoring teams
- Strong project management skills to coordinate resources and lead initiatives
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to build relationships and influence stakeholders at all levels
- A data-oriented approach with experience in data collection, analysis, and deriving actionable insights
