Job summary

Bosch Group is seeking an 8D team leader for manufacturing customer complaints (FA/SMT). You will maintain the QA matrix and Q tools, coordinate corrective actions to reduce complaints, and share lessons learned to drive sustainability across processes.

You will also aim to improve FA/SMT systems, reduce IDC and FOR, and perform LPA and 6S reviews on the production floor while reinforcing quality controls in collaboration with SMT/FA teams.

Qualifications

• Substantial product and manufacturing process knowledge including APQP, PPAP, XFMEA, MSA, SPC, ISO TS 16949.
• Problem solving methods: 8D, Fishbone, 5Why, 6Sigma/Shainin.
• Ability to build relationships across regions; intercultural skills and curiosity to access and solve problems.

Responsibilities

• Lead 8D team for customer complaints in manufacturing (FA/SMT).
• Maintain quality assurance matrix (QAM) and related quality tools.
• Coordinate actions to reduce customer complaints or internal escapes (AOI, functional escapes).
• Share and evaluate lessons learned to improve sustainability.
• Improve systems and procedures (FA/SMT) and drive quality improvements.
• Drive reduction of internal defect cost (IDC) and fall off rate (FOR).
• Perform LPA audits and address open points; conduct Gembas.
• Reinforce quality controls and collaborate with SMT/FA groups.

Job Description

8D team leader (lead, manage and coordinate) of customer complaints for manufacturing (FA/SMT).

• PS Expert & facilitator for all customer complaints in manufacturing
• Maintenance of quality assurance matrix (QAM) and related Q tools
• Actively coordinate actions to reduce customer complaints or internal escapes. (e.g. AOI , functional escapes)
• Responsible of sharing and evaluating lessons learned in order to lead its sustainability
• Improve systems and procedures (FA/SMT)
• Drive reduction of internal defect cost (IDC) and fall off rate (FOR)
• Perform layered process audits (LPA) and give solutions to open points under his responsibilities.
• Perform Gembas and reviews 6S in production shop floor.
• Reinforce quality controls.
• Creates internal claims towards suppliers for follow up by PQA
• Regular communication within IPN on Q-related topics.
• Follow up of material on “HOLD” to release it (documentation)
• Champion of ALR process.
• Responsible of monitoring Quality controls according to PFMEA.
• Work together with the SMT/FA group to solve quality issues.
• Champion of Quality Basics 1,2,14.

• Problem Solving Methods (8D, Fishbone, 5Why, 6Sigma/Shainin, ...)
• Customer Requirements
• Moderation and communication/negotiation skills.
• Ability to build relationships across different regions (intercultural abilities). High level of intellectual curiosity and open-mindedness to access and solve problems.
• Ability to use inductive and deductive reasoning.
