Job summary

AspenTech Pte. Ltd. (Singapore) is seeking a Product Owner within our Manufacturing & Supply Chain organization.

You will define and deliver software solutions that optimize planning, scheduling, logistics, and industrial workflows, working with Product Management, Software Development, Architecture, and Quality Engineering to maximize customer value through backlog management and agile execution. The role requires 8+ years in product ownership or related leadership, strong SAFe experience,

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in a related technical field.
8+ years of progressive experience in Product Ownership, Product Management, Business Analysis, or related leadership roles.
5+ years of experience in Agile software development environments.
Proven experience with SAFe or scaled Agile frameworks and backlog management.
Strong business and technical acumen bridging customer needs and engineering solutions.
Experience translating complex requirements into actionable software deliverables.
Experience defining features, user stories, acceptance criteria, and backlog priorities.
Experience collaborating with Software Engineers, Architects, and Quality Engineering teams.
Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
Ability to influence decisions and align cross-functional teams.
Experience managing dependencies, priorities, and trade-offs in complex software delivery.
Desirable: Understanding of Manufacturing, Supply Chain, Planning & Scheduling, Logistics, or Industry software.
Desirable: familiarity with optimization concepts or decision-support systems.
PO/PM certification (SAFe POPM) is considered an asset.
Passion for delivering customer value; willingness to learn and adapt.

Responsibilities

Define and deliver Manufacturing & Supply Chain solutions.
Own and prioritize the team backlog to maximize customer and business value.
Translate complex customer requirements into actionable features and acceptance criteria.
Collaborate with engineering teams to align product capabilities with technical strategy and delivery objectives.
Drive feature decomposition and backlog readiness for Agile planning.
Participate in PI Planning, Backlog Refinement, Iteration Planning, and reviews.
Manage feature priorities, dependencies, risks, and trade-offs across teams.
Validate delivered functionality against customer needs and objectives.
Partner with stakeholders to ensure adoption of delivered capabilities.
Foster a culture of customer-centricity and data-driven decision making.
