Johnson & Johnson MedTech in Juarez City seeks a Manufacturing Supervisor IV to lead daily operations, drive safety and quality metrics, and maximize efficiency. You will supervise production staff and collaborate with support functions to meet business goals.

The role emphasizes adherence to EHS standards, continuous improvement, and empowerment of team members through mentorship and process optimization. Fluent bi-lingual capabilities are valued for cross-functional communication.

Formación

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or related technical field.
  • More than 6 years of experience as production supervisor.
  • 5 years as supervisor in medical industry preferred.
  • Knowledge of good manufacturing practices and documentation.
  • Knowledge of Quality System requirements.
  • Basic knowledge of Lean Manufacturing, Quality Control and Production Control.
  • Good leadership and team working skills.
  • Good verbal and written communication skills.
  • Basic understanding of environmental, health and safety (EHS) standards.
  • Basic knowledge of Mexican labor regulations.
  • Bilingual Spanish - English intermediate.
  • Knowledge of computer programs (Microsoft Office, ERP system).
  • Ability to make customer-centered decisions.

Responsabilidades

  • Provide technical leadership for daily manufacturing operations and ensure metrics (Safety, Quality and Compliance, Production Waste, Efficiency, Cycle Time, Continuous Improvement) are met.
  • Supervise production personnel and coordinate with support departments to meet goals.
  • Ensure adherence to Environmental, Health and Safety policies; support safety initiatives.
  • Ensure compliance with Quality System and foster a culture of quality and compliance.
  • Optimize use of human, capital, and material resources.
  • Support rewards and recognition, develop employees, mentor staff.
  • Coordinate communication with manufacturing associates.
  • Identify and resolve labor issues with Human Resources.
  • Develop and maintain a culture based on our Credo.
  • Execute data entry in systems such as ERP and Kronos.
  • Communicate business-related issues to next management level.
  • Ensure compliance with all company Health, Safety and Environmental guidelines.

We are searching for the best talent for Manufacturing Supervisor IV to be in Juarez City
You Will Be Responsible For
  • Responsible for providing technical expertise and leadership for daily manufacturing operations and ensuring established metrics (Safety, Quality and Compliance, Production Waste,
  • Efficiency, Cycle Time and Continuous Improvement) are met
  • Supervises production personnel and collaborates with support departments to meet or exceed the goals and objectives of the Business Unit, in alignment with those in the company and franchise.
  • Responsible for ensuring adherence to Environmental, Health and Safety policies and procedures; provides support to ongoing initiatives related to safety and ergonomics programs.
  • Ensures that manufacturing activities are performed in compliance with the Quality System and drives efforts to enhance a culture of quality and compliance
  • Manages the effective and efficient utilization of human, capital, and material resources to optimize performance
  • Supports rewards and recognition programs, participates in the development of employees, acts as a mentor, and promotes talent
  • Coordinates communication activities with manufacturing associates
  • Identifies and supports the resolution of labor issues in coordination with the Human Resources department
  • Develop and maintain a culture based on our Credo.
  • Executes or supervises data entry on required systems, such as ERP, Kronos, and others
  • Coordinates communication activities with production associates
  • Identifies and supports the resolution of labor problems in coordination with the Human Resources department
  • Responsible for communicating business-related issues or opportunities to next management level
  • Responsible for following all Company guidelines related to Health, Safety and Environmental practices as applicable.
  • o For those who supervise or manage a staff, responsible for ensuring that subordinates follow all
  • Company guidelines related to Health, Safety and Environmental practices and that all resources needed to do so are available and in good condition, if applicable
  • Responsible for ensuring personal and Company compliance with all Federal, State, local and Company regulations, policies, and procedures
  • Performs other duties assigned as needed
Qualifications / Requirements
  • A minimum of bachelor’s degree, preferably in Engineering or related technical field.
  • See Table A for information regarding years of experience required
  • More than 6 years of experience as production supervisor, 5 years as supervisor in medical industry preferred
  • Knowledge of good manufacturing practices and documentation, preferably in the medical industry
  • Knowledge of Quality System requirements
  • Basic knowledge of Lean Manufacturing, Quality Control and Production Control
  • Good leadership and team working skills
  • Good verbal and written communication skills
  • Proven initiative, creativity and assertiveness
  • Basic understanding of environmental, health and safety (EHS) standards
  • Basic knowledge of Mexican labor regulations
  • Bilingual Spanish - English intermediate
