Johnson & Johnson in Juarez is seeking a Manufacturing Supervisor IV to lead daily operations in our MedTech manufacturing site. You will supervise production personnel, drive safety, quality, and efficiency metrics, and collaborate with support departments to meet business goals.

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related field.
• Over 6 years of experience as production supervisor.
• Experience in the medical industry preferred.
• Knowledge of GMP and documentation.
• Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing and Quality Systems.
• Bilingual Spanish-English, intermediate.

Responsabilidades

• Provide technical leadership for daily manufacturing operations and meet established metrics (Safety, Quality, Compliance, Production Waste, Efficiency, Cycle Time).
• Supervise production personnel and collaborate with support departments to meet goals.
• Ensure adherence to Environmental, Health and Safety policies; support safety initiatives.
• Drive a culture of quality and compliance within manufacturing activities.
• Manage resources to optimize performance (human, capital, material).
• Coordinate communication with manufacturing associates; resolve labor issues with HR; mentor staff.

We are searching for the best talent for Manufacturing Supervisor IV to be in Juarez City.

You will be responsible for:

• Responsible for providing technical expertise and leadership for daily manufacturing operations and ensuring established metrics (Safety, Quality and Compliance, Production Waste,
• Efficiency, Cycle Time and Continuous Improvement) are met
• Supervises production personnel and collaborates with support departments to meet or exceed the goals and objectives of the Business Unit, in alignment with those in the company and franchise.
• Responsible for ensuring adherence to Environmental, Health and Safety policies and procedures; provides support to ongoing initiatives related to safety and ergonomics programs.
• Ensures that manufacturing activities are performed in compliance with the Quality System and drives efforts to enhance a culture of quality and compliance
• Manages the effective and efficient utilization of human, capital, and material resources to optimize performance
• Supports rewards and recognition programs, participates in the development of employees, acts as a mentor, and promotes talent
• Coordinates communication activities with manufacturing associates
• Identifies and supports the resolution of labor issues in coordination with the Human Resources department
• Develop and maintain a culture based on our Credo.
• Executes or supervises data entry on required systems, such as ERP, Kronos, and others
• Coordinates communication activities with production associates
• Identifies and supports the resolution of labor problems in coordination with the Human Resources department
• Responsible for communicating business-related issues or opportunities to next management level
• Responsible for following all Company guidelines related to Health, Safety and Environmental practices as applicable.
• o For those who supervise or manage a staff, responsible for ensuring that subordinates follow all
• Company guidelines related to Health, Safety and Environmental practices and that all resources needed to do so are available and in good condition, if applicable
• Responsible for ensuring personal and Company compliance with all Federal, State, local and Company regulations, policies, and procedures
• Performs other duties assigned as needed

Qualifications / Requirements:

• A minimum of bachelor's degree, preferably in Engineering or related technical field.
• See Table A for information regarding years of experience required
• More than 6 years of experience as production supervisor, 5 years as supervisor in medical industry preferred
• Knowledge of good manufacturing practices and documentation, preferably in the medical industry
• Knowledge of Quality System requirements
• Basic knowledge of Lean Manufacturing, Quality Control and Production Control
• Good leadership and team working skills
• Good verbal and written communication skills
• Proven initiative, creativity and assertiveness
• Basic understanding of environmental, health and safety (EHS) standards
• Basic knowledge of Mexican labor regulations
• Bilingual Spanish - English intermediate
• knowledge of computer programs (Microsoft Office, ERP system)
• Ability to make customer-centered decisions
