Prattwhitney in Mexicali, MX, seeks an engineer to support manufacturing with a variety of tasks from planning to execution. You will analyze workflow, floor layouts, and machine utilization, and lead process improvement initiatives to boost efficiency and reduce waste.

You will perform data-driven analyses, support production operations, and assist with SolidWorks-based tooling design. The role requires a university degree, 2+ years of experience, strong Excel skills, and proficient English;

Formación

• University degree in related field and 2+ years of relevant experience.
• Proficient English communication in person and in reports/emails.
• Advanced Excel with VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP, pivots, charts and data analysis.
• Hands-on experience with SolidWorks or similar 3D CAD software.
• Experience operating soldering equipment or conformal coat processes.

Responsabilidades

• Support manufacturing with engineering tasks and project planning.
• Analyze workflow, routing, floor layouts and machine utilization.
• Lead and support process improvement to boost efficiency and reduce waste.
• Perform scrap/rework analysis and root-cause identification.
• Participate in tooling design using SolidWorks for manufacturability.
• Provide engineering support including troubleshooting and setup.
• Travel to the U.S. occasionally as needed.
