Descripción de la vacante

TE Connectivity is seeking a Manufacturing Engineer II in Hermosillo Sonora to implement and improve techniques, tooling, and machinery to optimize quality and output.

You will lead mechanical and electronic design improvements, design automation controls, and develop process instructions and training for control systems. Strong problem-solving and multitasking abilities are required, with 1–3 years in manufacturing and a Bachelor's degree.

Formación

  • 1–3 years in manufacturing environment supporting production.
  • Bachelor's degree required.
  • Fluent English skills required.
  • Knowledge in SAP and Microsoft Office.
  • Ability to work on several projects at once.
  • Strong problem-solving skills.
  • Good interpersonal skills and multitasking ability.
  • Design experience in automation controls (PLCs, servos, vision systems, sensors, ladder logic, function block programming, electrical schematics).
  • Control system debugging and optimization.
  • Mechanical design (3D, 2D, etc).
  • Electrical and communication knowledge.

Responsabilidades

  • Mechanic and electronic design improvements for current process and add-ons for current machinery.
  • Design and implement automation control systems.
  • Develop and update manufacturing process instructions for all control systems.
  • Develop and update training materials on control/schematics for manufacturing processes and automation machinery.
  • Analyze performance and process control data.
  • Identify, source, acquire, design or adapt machines, tools and equipment to meet production requirements.
  • Create new technologies in process designs to maximize performance and efficiency.
  • Generate innovative ideas to solve manufacturing problems and reduce costs and increase overall efficiency.

Job Overview

Implements and improves manufacturing techniques, processes, tooling, and machinery to optimize quality and output levels.

Responsabilities
  • Mechanic and electronic design of improvement for current process and add-ons for current machinery.
