Medtronic is a global leader in healthcare technology seeking a Manufacturing Engineer for a 12-month contract at the El Lago site. The role focuses on designing manufacturing processes, layouts and procedures to optimize production, while ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and quality standards.

The ideal candidate holds a Bachelor's degree in engineering, has advanced English (≈90%), and at least 1 year of manufacturing engineering experience.

Formación

• Bachelor's degree in engineering or related field.
• Advanced English proficiency.
• At least 1 year of experience as a Manufacturing Engineer.

Responsabilidades

• Designs manufacturing processes, procedures and layouts for assemblies, equipment installation, processing, machining and material handling.
• Designs arrangement of machines within plant facilities to ensure most efficient and productive layout.
• Designs sequence of operations and specifies procedures for fabrication of tools and equipment and other functions affecting product performance.
• Adapts machine or equipment design to factory and production conditions.
• May incorporate inspection and test requirements into the production plan.
• Inspects performance of machinery, equipment, and tools to verify their efficiency and initiates corrective action of problems.
• Develops manufacturing processes applicable to statistical process control and may develop those techniques.
• Provides guidance to engineering regarding design concepts and specification requirements to best utilize equipment and manufacturing techniques.
• Ensures processes and procedures are in compliance with regulations.
