Gulfstream Aerospace Mexicali is seeking a Materials Specialist ME3 to determine current and future needs of raw materials and components to meet the master production schedule. You will provide timely inputs to business units and manage material planning and inventory control.

The role requires a bachelor's degree and at least one year of experience, with advanced English and strong knowledge of supply chain processes. This is a full-time on-site position in Mexicali, Mexico.

Formación

• Bachelor's degree required; 1 year of experience acceptable.
• Experience planning and supervising materials to meet the master production schedule.
• Proficiency with MRP systems, MS Office, APICS knowledge.

Responsabilidades

• Plan and supervise requirements of materials, components and production orders.
• Make adjustments in planning requisitions for components and orders.
• Follow up on deliveries of purchase orders and expedite delivery times as needed.
• Transfer materials and components between plants.
• Analyze and control materials according to inventory classification.
• Prepare reports, databases and graphics related to responsibilities.
• Process engineering changes, obsolete or restricted material, and inventory adjustments.

Essential Functions

• Make adjustments in planning requisition of the components and production orders .
• Follow up on deliveries of purchase orders,negotiating and or expediting delivery times and conditions .
• Make transfers of materials, components from plants .
• Analyze and control the materials according to their inventory classification .
• Prepare and analyze reports, databases and graphics related to their responsibilities .
• Processing engineering changes, obsolete or restricted material and adjustments to inventory levels.

Perform other duties as assigned.
