Job summary

FORVIA HELLA in Mexico sucht einen Manufacturing Engineer, der Produktionsmethoden bewertet, Prozesse optimiert und Fertigungsabläufe neu gestaltet. Sie arbeiten eng mit Entwicklung, Qualität und Produktion zusammen, analysieren Layouts und setzen effiziente Arbeitsabläufe um.

Sie leiten Projekte, unterstützen Kostenreduktion ohne Qualitätsverlust und sorgen für Dokumentation und Schulung des Teams. Erwartet wird ein Bachelor-Abschluss in Fertigungs-/Industrietechnik, mindestens 3 Jahre

Qualifications

• Bachelorabschluss in Fertigungs-/Industrietechnik oder verwandtem Bereich.
• Mindestens 3 Jahre Erfahrung in einer Fertigungsingenieurrolle.
• Gute Kenntnisse in Lean-Methoden und Prozessverbesserung.
• Gute Englischkenntnisse; CPIM vorteilhaft.
• Ausgezeichnete Problemlösungsfähigkeiten.

Responsibilities

• Entwickeln, bewerten und optimieren Fertigungsmethoden.
• Arbeitsabläufe, Platzbedarf und Layouts analysieren.
• Produktionspläne anpassen und digitale Kontrollsysteme verbessern.

IHRE AUFGABEN

• Develop, evaluate, and enhance manufacturing methods and procedures, utilizing knowledge of product design, materials, fabrication processes, tooling and production equipment capabilities, assembly methods, and quality control standards.
• Analyze and design workflows, space and layout requirements, to ensure maximum efficiency in production processes.
• Modify production and inventory control programs to maintain and improve manufacturing digital control systems.
• Collaborate with product development engineers to design and implement production processes for new products.
• Oversee and assess the production line and make recommendations for improvements.
• Investigate and troubleshoot any problems that arise with processes, machinery, and equipment.
• Identify bottlenecks within the production process and develop solutions to eliminate them.
• Evaluate current production activities and make recommendations for improvements.
• Implement cost-reduction initiatives while maintaining high-quality standards.
• Maintain documentation and guide staff through production improvement processes.
• Participate in team meetings to discuss progress and updates.
• Ensure regulatory compliance, performing all duties in a safe and efficient manner.
• Works with other team members to develop new product and engineering designs and manufacturing and training methods.
• Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed-

IHRE QUALIFIKATIONEN

• Bachelor's degree in Manufacturing Engineering, Industrial Engineering or a related field.
• Minimum of 3 years experience in a manufacturing engineering role.
• Strong knowledge of manufacturing industry and process improvement techniques.
• Excellent project management skills with the ability to lead a team to achieve objectives.
• Proficient with CAD and CAM software, as well as MS Office applications.
• Familiarity with quality testing and drafting standards.
• Excellent troubleshooting skills, with an ability to solve complex manufacturing problems.
• Proven experience with lean manufacturing techniques and implementations.
• Outstanding communication skills, both oral and written.
• Understanding of safety protocols and industry regulations.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
• Certification in Production and Inventory Management (CPIM) will be advantageous.
• Proficiency in English, and additional languages are a plus.
