Job summary

MCC, a global leader in premium labels, seeks a Cost Controller for our Monterrey facility. This role oversees cost accounting, budgeting, and financial analysis to drive profitability and maintain internal controls across the production environment.

You will partner with plant leadership to monitor costs, optimize inventory, and deliver accurate month-end close. Strong costing, ERP experience, and cross-functional collaboration are essential for success.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or related field.
• CPA, CMA, MBA, or equivalent certification preferred.
• Minimum 5 years of progressive cost accounting or manufacturing finance experience.
• Experience in manufacturing environment; strong costing, budgeting, and forecasting.
• Experience partnering with plant operations and leadership teams.

Responsibilities

• Partner with Plant Manager and site leadership to drive financial performance and accountability.
• Provide financial guidance and analysis to support operational and strategic decisions.
• Ensure compliance with corporate policies, procedures, and internal controls.
• Develop and achieve the annual operating budget.
• Analyze plant results and KPIs to improve profitability and efficiency.
• Lead forecasting, provide projections and insights for decision making.
• Maintain cost accounting systems and monitor inventory costs.
• Lead month-end close, reconciliations, and reporting.
• Drive cost reduction and Lean/Six Sigma initiatives.
• Collaborate across functions and mentor operational leaders.
