Job summary

The Cummins Inc. team in San Luis Potosí is seeking an Administrative Associate Level IV—Manufacturing to support automated production and continuous improvement efforts.

You will track automation projects, assist with cobot and robot programming, and manage procurement via Ariba while coordinating with suppliers and internal teams. Preferred candidates hold an Associate or Bachelor degree in related fields, with at least 1 year in manufacturing or industrial automation.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Associates or Bachelor degree in Mechatronics, Manufacturing, Automation, Electromechanical Engineering, or related field preferred.

Responsibilities

• Track automation projects and coordinate with suppliers and stakeholders.
• Support identification and resolution of failures in automated systems and production equipment.
• Perform programming adjustments on cobots and robots per production needs.
• Assist in implementing improvements on production lines to optimize safety, quality, productivity, and efficiency.
• Create and follow up on purchase orders through Ariba for materials and services.
• Document modifications and changes to manufacturing and automation processes.
• Gather and present technical and operational information to support decisions and project tracking.
• Maintain communication with internal teams, suppliers, and contractors to meet timelines.
• Assist in preparing reports, presentations, and documentation.
• Monitor activities and prioritize tasks to achieve department objectives.
