HARMAN Lifestyle is seeking a seasoned HPS Manager to lead Lean deployment across manufacturing, driving safety, quality, and productivity gains.

You will collaborate with Operations, Quality, Supply Chain, Engineering, and Finance to deliver cross-functional improvements, develop standards, and coach teams in Lean tools and HPS practices. A strong track record in manufacturing excellence is essential.

Formación

• 5+ years of experience in manufacturing, industrial engineering, Lean, or operational excellence environments.
• Proven knowledge of Lean Manufacturing principles, including 5S, Kaizen, standardized work, visual management, and continuous improvement.
• Demonstrated success leading cross-functional initiatives that improve safety, quality, delivery, cost, and productivity.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and leadership skills with the ability to influence change and drive sustainable business results.

Responsabilidades

• Lead the deployment and continuous improvement of the HARMAN Production System (HPS) across the manufacturing operation.
• Identify, prioritize, and execute operational improvement initiatives that eliminate waste, increase efficiency, and enhance overall manufacturing performance.
• Champion Lean Manufacturing principles, including 5S, Kaizen events, standardized work, visual management, and problem-solving methodologies.
• Partner with Operations, Quality, Supply Chain, Engineering, and Finance to deliver measurable business results through cross-functional improvement projects.
• Analyze manufacturing processes, labor utilization, capacity constraints, and workflow efficiency to identify opportunities for optimization and cost reduction.
• Develop, implement, and maintain industrial engineering standards, including time studies, line balancing, capacity planning, labor standards, and process documentation.
• Establish and track key operational performance metrics, ensuring effective reporting, accountability, and achievement of improvement targets.
• Lead training and certification programs to strengthen employee capability in Lean tools, operational excellence methodologies, and HPS standards.
• Drive the identification, validation, and realization of productivity, cost savings, and operational excellence benefits across the plant.
• Support compliance with ISO standards, environmental, health, safety, and quality requirements while ensuring continuous adherence to operational best practices.
• Coach and mentor cross-functional teams, building a culture of ownership, accountability, and continuous improvement.

About The Role

The HPS Manager will support the main HPS processes. He/she will help develop and implement a culture of Continuous Improvement across all the areas and departments. He/she will help create standards that will be used as the guidelines for the operations in the plants according to the HPS Model.

What You Will Do

What You Need To Be Successful

• 5+ years of experience in manufacturing, industrial engineering, Lean, or operational excellence environments.
• Proven knowledge of Lean Manufacturing principles, including 5S, Kaizen, standardized work, visual management, and continuous improvement.
• Demonstrated success leading cross-functional initiatives that improve safety, quality, delivery, cost, and productivity.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and leadership skills with the ability to influence change and drive sustainable business results.

Bonus Points if You Have

• Lean Six Sigma Green Belt or Black Belt certification.
• Experience managing multi-site manufacturing improvement initiatives
• Track record of delivering significant productivity and cost-saving projects
• Experience coaching and developing Lean practitioners and future leaders
• Bilingual proficiency in English and Spanish
• Knowledge of ISO 9001 and ISO 14001 standards
