Ensenada Massage, a spa and tour/transportation service in Ensenada, seeks an operator to run floor operations across both businesses. The role covers spa scheduling, bookings, cash close‑outs, and coordinating tours with Valle de Guadalupe transportation.

You will respond via WhatsApp across early mornings, evenings, and weekends and help fix operational gaps. The candidate must be bilingual (English/Spanish), hold a valid driver’s license, and demonstrate strong people and systems management.

Formación

Responsabilidades

• Spa operations: manage reception and daily cash close‑outs, coordinate with spa manager on Saturdays and receptionists on Sundays/Mon
• Tours & transport operations: support logistics, coordinate driver schedules and client communication
• Across both businesses: be the fastest, most reliable WhatsApp responder; fix operational gaps; maintain trust with guests and staff.

We run two connected businesses in Ensenada: a spa (Ensenada Massage) serving cruise passengers and local clients, and a private tour/transportation company (Baja Tours and Transport) that runs shore excursions and wine-country trips to Valle de Guadalupe. We need one sharp, reliable, bilingual operator who can run the floor on both sides of the business — not a salesperson, not a therapist, an operator. Someone who can open the spa on a Sunday morning, close out a Saturday report without being chased for it, and then show up Tuesday and help keep a wine tour running on schedule. This is a hands‑on management role for someone who wants real responsibility and a business that will actually invest in them.

Key responsibilities

Spa operations (Sat/Sun/Mon)

• Run reception and management duties in the spa alongside our spa manager Claudia on Saturdays, and solo (with our receptionist Chloe) on Sundays and Mondays
• Manage bookings, client flow, scheduling, and daily cash/close‑out procedures
• Complete accurate, on‑time end‑of‑day reports — every time
• Keep the spa running to standard whether or not a manager is standing next to you

Tours & transport operations (Tue/Wed AM)

• Support logistics for private shore excursions and Valle de Guadalupe transportation
• Coordinate driver schedules, pickup timing, and client communication
• Learn the operational side of tours well enough to problem‑solve on the ground — this side of the business is more complex than the spa and we don't expect you to master it overnight

Across both businesses

• Be the fastest, most reliable WhatsApp responder we have — early mornings, evenings, and weekends included. This is not flexible. Slow response times cost us real bookings, and this role exists partly to fix that.
• Flag and help fix operational gaps as you find them — better systems, cleaner handoffs, fewer dropped balls
• Act as a steady, trustworthy presence guests and staff can rely on

Must-haves

• Fully bilingual, English and Spanish (1. spoken 2. written)
• Valid driver’s license
• Comfortable with booking systems, WhatsApp Business, and basic CRM tools
• Available and responsive on WhatsApp during early mornings, evenings, and weekends
• Strong communicator who can manage people, systems, not just tasks

• Background in hospitality, tourism, or customer-facing management
• Experience with spa, wellness, or tour operations specifically
• Comfort working independently and making judgment calls without a manager hovering

No massage therapy skill required.
