Job summary

Merit Medical Systems, Inc. is seeking a Facilities Coordinator to oversee maintenance and coordination of building systems. The role focuses on leading a team, coordinating with contractors for new construction, and ensuring safe, efficient facilities operations across offices and labs.

Responsibilities include maintaining blueprints, HCAC upkeep, and internal communications on safety issues, with comprehensive reports for management. This position offers full-time hours at Merit’s facilities.

Qualifications

• Education/experience equivalent to a Bachelor's Degree in a related field.
• A minimum of six years of facilities coordination and maintenance experience.
• Knowledge of maintenance methods and techniques.
• Ability to resolve problems on a timely basis.
• Ability to work effectively with people at all levels of an organization and function as a team member.
• Knowledge of safety related issues and principles.
• Ability to maintain records and prepare reports.
• Demonstrated computer skills preferably spreadsheets, word processing, database and other applicable software programs.

• Responds to requests for assistance from other departments, attempting to meet the needs described on a timely basis.
• Coordinates and responds to divisions within Merit for installation and movement of equipment for building electrical, plumbing, compressed air, or any other utility needs.
• Performs a variety of related duties to ensure that facilities are maintained and that safety goals are achieved, as required.
