Job summary

LIXIL invita a un Controller de Planta para liderar el control financiero, cierres de costos y análisis de CAPEX, alineado con políticas corporativas. El rol reporta al equipo directivo y colabora estrechamente con operaciones para impulsar rentabilidad.

Se requiere experiencia en controlling de producción, SAP CO/FI/MM y Excel avanzado; dominio de inglés para presentar resultados a stakeholders globales. Oportunidad de desarrollo en un entorno de transformación.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree en Finanzas, Contabilidad o Administración de Empresas.
• 2+ años de experiencia progresiva en controlling financiero, cost accounting o finanzas corporativas.
• Sólida experiencia en controlling de producción, costeo de productos estándar, análisis de variancias y evaluación de CAPEX.
• Sólidos conocimientos de SAP (CO, FI y MM).
• Datos y analítica: MS Excel avanzado; Power BI o herramientas de visualización.

Responsibilities

• Liderar el cierre mensual/anual de costos y coordinar entradas contables conforme a plazos corporativos.
• Monitorear PPV y analizar costos de materiales, fletes y aranceles.
• Preparar y presentar reportes y análisis de varianza a liderazgo y alta dirección.
• Coordinar inventarios físicos anuales y conteos semanales para asegurar precisión.
• Colaborar con operaciones para reducir el capital de trabajo y optimizar inventarios.
• Actuar como socio de negocio para identificar mejoras de eficiencia y iniciativas CAPEX.
• Establecer y gestionar el presupuesto anual de departamentos dentro de finanzas y control.

Visión general

This position is part of the Controller Department.

Responsabilidades

As a strategic business partner within the plant leadership team, the Leader, Accounting reports to Sr. Manager, Financial Controller and provides financial leadership to drive profitability, optimize site performance, and guide high-impact business decisions. The role is responsible for overseeing financial planning, management reporting, and cost controls in strict alignment with corporate policies.

Requisitios

Cost Control, Financial Closing, and Reporting

Lead and coordinate the plant's monthly and year-end cost closing process, ensuring the accurate preparation of journal entries and strict compliance with corporate group deadlines.

Monitor and integrate Purchase Price Variance (PPV), conducting in-depth analyses of the impact of material costs, freight, and duties.

Prepare and present financial reports and key variance analyses for project leadership and senior management, ensuring that department heads execute corrective actions based on the results.

Working Capital and Inventory Optimization

Coordinate the annual physical inventory and the weekly cycle counting program to guarantee inventory accuracy.

Proactively collaborate with the plant operations team to reduce Working Capital, focusing on lowering inventory levels.

Business Partnering and Investment Strategy (CAPEX)

Act as a Business Partner to the Plant General Manager and the manufacturing team to identify efficiency improvement initiatives, cost reduction opportunities, and risk analyses.

Coordinate investment feasibility analyses (CAPEX), maintaining strict financial control over expected vs. realized expenditures, and measuring potential savings and Return on Invested Capital (ROIC).

Establish and manage the annual budget for one or more departments within the plant's financial discipline (controlling, accounting, and internal audit).

Governance, Compliance, and Internal Control

Design, monitor, and maintain the plant's internal control system to safeguard company assets and ensure the integrity of all financial transactions.

Ensure full compliance with corporate financial policies and internal audit procedures.

Education

Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration.

Experience

2+ years of progressive experience in financial controlling, cost accounting, or corporate finance.

Strong background in production controlling, standard product costing, variance analysis, and CAPEX evaluation.

ERP Systems: Advanced, hands-on knowledge of SAP (CO, FI and MM modules).

Data & Analytics: Advanced MS Excel skills (complex formulas, data modeling); proficiency in Power BI or similar data visualization tools is highly desirable.

Languages: Fluent English (written and spoken), with the ability to present financial results and build business cases for global corporate stakeholders.
