Job summary

H.B. Fuller in Mexico is seeking a Maintenance Technician to perform preventive and corrective maintenance on pumps, reactors and other chemical processing equipment, ensuring safe and reliable operations.

You will troubleshoot mechanical, electrical and hydraulic systems, assist with installation and calibration of new equipment, and maintain CMMS records. The role requires a technical degree and at least 3 years in chemical or manufacturing maintenance.

Qualifications

3+ years of maintenance experience in chemical or manufacturing environments.
Ability to read technical drawings, schematics and equipment manuals.
Technical degree or certification in mechanical, electrical, or industrial maintenance.
Basic CMMS data entry skills.

Responsibilities

Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on pumps, mixers, reactors, and other processing equipment.
Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems to restore functionality.
Assist with installation, calibration, and alignment of new or upgraded equipment.
Maintain accurate maintenance records in the CMMS.
Ensure safety, environmental, and quality standards are met during maintenance work.
Respond promptly to breakdowns to minimize production interruptions.
Monitor equipment performance and report issues to supervisors.
Collaborate with production teams to schedule maintenance without disrupting operations.
Manage spare parts inventory and request replenishment when needed.
Participate in continuous improvement projects to enhance equipment reliability and efficiency.
