Job summary

Haemonetics is seeking a Maintenance Mechanic I to maintain equipment, buildings, and facilities at our site in Tijuana. The role involves diagnosing and repairing production machinery, ordering parts, and documenting maintenance activities.

Strong mechanical skills and the ability to work with operators and engineers are essential. This is a hands-on, safety-conscious position within a regulated medical device manufacturing environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required, associate degree preferred.
• Technical degree, certification, or apprenticeship in a related field preferred.
• Experience in a medical device manufacturing environment is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Diagnoses, troubleshoots, and repairs production equipment including molding machines and high-speed automated systems.
• Maintains equipment and facilities, orders spare parts, and documents maintenance logs.
• Ensures safety and compliance with GMP/SOP/MI/SI during all tasks.
• Provides support to production teams and communicates with operators and management.
