Job summary

AMETEK, Inc. is seeking a Maintenance Technician to coordinate and execute preventive and corrective maintenance on plant machinery, ensuring optimal operation and training operators.

You will support process improvements and collaborate with cross-functional teams to meet quality and safety standards. The role requires a technical or engineering degree, 3+ years of manufacturing maintenance experience, proficiency in pneumatics, hydraulics, PLCs, and English communication.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or technical degree in engineering preferred.
• 3+ years of experience in a maintenance role within manufacturing.
• Experience with Armature and Stators Winders and Rotors Balancers.
• Proficient in pneumatics, hydraulics, PLC and basic electrical systems.
• Ability to read and interpret technical diagrams.
• Able to travel to the USA (visa and passport up to date).
• Knowledge of ISO 9001 and industrial safety standards.
• Fluent in English (reading, writing and speaking).

Responsibilities

• Provide support to production areas, ensuring machinery and equipment are in optimal working condition.
• Execute and follow up on preventive and corrective maintenance plans.
• Coordinate equipment installation, relocation, and commissioning activities.
• Prepare purchase requisitions for materials, tools, and spare parts.
• Participate in process improvements and new equipment implementation.
• Implement preventive/corrective actions to avoid recurrence.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to meet quality standards (ISO 9001).
• Ensure compliance with quality, safety, and environmental policies.
• Participate in continuous improvement initiatives.

Requirements

• Technical degree or Bachelor’s degree (Engineering preferred).
• Minimum 3 years of experience in a similar position or in a manufacturing environment.
• Skilled in the use of Armature and Stators Winders.
• Skilled in the use of Rotors Balancers.
• English reading, written and spoken.
• Knowledge of pneumatics, hydraulics, PLC, and basic electrical systems.
• Preventive and corrective maintenance practices.
• Ability to read and interpret technical diagrams.
• Ability to travel to USA (VISA and Passport up to Date).
