Job summary

Bosch is seeking an experienced maintenance technician to join our HVAC equipment teams. The role focuses on preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance, with hands-on PLC troubleshooting and electrical/mechanical repair across manufacturing lines.

You will read schematics, work with automation systems, and support installation, validation, and continuous improvement while upholding strict safety standards and LOTO/EHS requirements.

Qualifications

• Experience diagnosing and repairing PLC-controlled systems.
• Knowledge of electrical and mechanical maintenance.
• Ability to read electrical drawings and schematics.
• Familiarity with HVAC manufacturing equipment.
• Proficient in RCA and problem-solving.
• Adherence to safety procedures (LOTO, EHS).

Responsibilities

• Perform preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance on HVAC equipment.
• Troubleshoot PLC systems and electrical panels.
• Diagnose failures and implement corrective actions.
• Support production by minimizing downtime.
• Assist with installation, commissioning, and validation of new machinery.
• Collaborate with production, engineering, and quality teams to improve performance.
• Maintain maintenance records and documentation.
• Participate in continuous improvement initiatives focused on reliability and cost reduction.
• Ensure compliance with safety procedures.

• Perform preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance on HVAC manufacturing equipment to ensure maximum uptime and production efficiency.
• Troubleshoot and repair PLC-controlled systems, electrical panels, sensors, drives, HMIs, and automation equipment.
• Diagnose mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic failures and implement effective corrective actions.
• Support production by responding quickly to equipment breakdowns and minimizing downtime.
• Program, modify, and troubleshoot PLC logic and control systems when required.
• Execute equipment inspections and maintain accurate maintenance records, work orders, and technical documentation.
• Participate in continuous improvement initiatives focused on reliability, productivity, quality, and cost reduction.
• Ensure compliance with safety procedures, including LOTO, EHS regulations, and company maintenance standards.
• Assist with installation, commissioning, and validation of new machinery and production equipment.
• Collaborate with production, engineering, and quality teams to improve equipment performance and process stability.
