Caterpillar Inc. is seeking an experienced maintenance professional to support M&E maintenance management, ensuring compliance with internal processes and security regulations. You will work with the support team and engineers to drive continuous improvements in operational readiness.

Responsibilities include developing maintenance routines, tracking KPIs, analyzing data for root causes, and coordinating with facility engineers on projects to improve asset availability.

Formación

• Engineering degree required in automation or related field.
• Experience in maintenance planning and root cause analysis preferred.

Job Summary

This position will be responsible for supporting M&E's maintenance management, ensuring compliance with internal machine maintenance processes. Likewise, it will supervise compliance with the applicable Security Regulations (LOTTO, ZMS, FDP). As a key role, this position will be actively involved in identifying and resolving maintenance-related issues, working closely with the support team and engineers to implement strategies aimed at continuous improvement of operational readiness. This includes ensuring proper performance of MP, TPM, uptime, as well as monitoring and improvement of MTTR and MTBF indicators.

What the candidate will do:

• Develop and improve maintenance routines, procedures and technical documentation for the repair of the equipment under their responsibility.

Educational requirements

Engineering Degree Control Automation, Mechatronics, Electronics, Mechanical or Electrical Engineering, or a related field.

This position requires intermediate English

• Able to anticipate, detect and resolve technical issues in a manufacturing environment.

Project Management:

• Participate in the development and execution of maintenance strategies.

• Cost Reduction Initiatives, Asset Efficiency

• Ability to plan, guide, and monitor maintenance processes to ensure compliance.

• PLC (Programmable Logic Controller) programming training

• Industrial Robot Programming Training (Fanuc, ABB)

Additional Information:

• Location: Santa Catarina, Nuevo León

• Travel Requirement: 10%

• Working Hours: Monday to Saturday with availability for rotating shifts.

• Relocation assistance is not available for this position.
