Job summary

TE Connectivity Ltd. in Hermosillo, Mexico, is seeking an experienced maintenance technician responsible for routine and preventive maintenance of facilities and manufacturing equipment.

You will inspect, operate, test machinery, diagnose issues across electrical, mechanical, hydraulic and pneumatic systems, and provide technical support to maintenance and engineering staff.

Qualifications

• Minimum 8 years of related work experience.
• High school diploma required; vocational training or AA preferred.
• Experience supporting manufacturing facilities and machinery.
• Ability to diagnose electrical, mechanical, hydraulic and pneumatic issues.

Responsibilities

• Inspecting, operating, and testing machinery to determine malfunctions and decide solutions.
• Provide technical support and training to maintenance and engineering staff.
• Lead routine maintenance and preventive maintenance for facilities and manufacturing equipment.
• Diagnose and resolve electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic issues to minimize downtime.

• Inspecting, operating, and testing machinery or equipment to determine malfunctions and deciding on appropriate solutions to correct them.
• Providing technical support and training to maintenance and engineering department staff, as required.
• Leading routine maintenance and preventive maintenance required at the facilities, and on manufacturing machinery.
• Diagnosing and resolving electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic equipment issues to minimize production downtime and process waste.

What Your Background Should Look Like

Typically requires a minimum of 8 years of related work experience. Requires completion of high school. Vocational training or an AA degree is preferred.
