Job summary

Johnson Controls is seeking a Lean Manufacturing/Kaizen professional in Mexico to drive improvement across value streams. You will support Kaizen events, lead 5S activities, map processes, and develop A3s to realize savings and standardized practices.

You will coordinate value-stream mapping, conduct time and motion studies, and apply environmental systems 14001. Advanced English and Six Sigma (Green/Black Belt) are preferred to help optimize performance.

Qualifications

• Engineering or equivalent.
• 5 to 7 years of experience.
• Preferably experience in the HVAC industry.
• Advanced English.
• Six Sigma certification (Green or Black Belt).
• Knowledge of the OEE.
• Excel and PowerPoint proficiency.
• Knowledge of AutoCAD.

Responsibilities

• Support for improvement activities arising from the rewards program.
• Support for savings projects arising from KAIZEN events.
• Training, organization, and support of Value Stream Map activities.
• Realization, deployment and monitoring of Lean Assessment results.
• Coordination of the 5S audit and recognition program.
• Generation of savings projects.
• Follow-up to standardization of best practices.
• Line balancing.
• A3 development.
