A leading manufacturing company in Mexicali seeks a Maintenance Manager to lead a team of supervisors and technicians. Responsibilities include managing maintenance operations, ensuring compliance with safety policies, and coordinating activities with production departments. Candidates should have a bachelor's degree in engineering, bilingual capabilities, and at least five years of relevant experience in a production environment.
Lead a team of Maintenance Supervisors, Maintenance Engineers and Maintenance Technicians to support BU operation. Ensure that work is completed in accordance with all Safety Policies and Procedures. Manage the maintenance, repair and/or replacement of plant equipment and systems while ensuring maximum production quantity and quality. Perform Maintenance tasks as needed to support the operation. Coordinate activities of outside contractors as needed for facility Maintenance. Support the policies, goals and objectives of the company.
Main responsibilities:
1. Ensure equipment ergonomic improvements that reduce employee injury risk.
2. Support machine guarding and risk assessments to proactively eliminate hazards.
3. LOTO and Electrical work procedures.
Profile:
· A bachelor’s degree in mechanical and/or electrical engineering, and at least 5 years of experience is required in the Maintenance Manager Role in a production environment consisting of mechanics and electrical technicians.
· Bilingual in English and Spanish.
· Knowledge in Safety, Health & Regulatory requirements and adherence to safety policies.
· At least 5 years' experience as Maintenance Manager in the electrical/electronics, mechanical, hydraulic and pneumatic fields and the ability to demonstrate high proficiency in these areas.
Preferred experience:
· Knowledge on automation equipment
· Knowledge on laser welding, electrical test, molding equipment
· Experience working with US and Asia suppliers
· Implementing preventive maintenance systems
· Managing teams through night and weekend shift (12 hours shifts)
