Cabot Corporation seeks a Mechanical Engineer responsible for maintaining stationary and rotating equipment, conducting predictive maintenance, and developing repair specifications. You will coordinate with manufacturers and contractors to ensure safe, compliant equipment performance.

The role requires a bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering, familiarity with ASME codes, and knowledge of welding and lubrication.

Formación

• Bachelor/University degree in Mechanical Engineering.
• Experience with maintenance of stationary and rotating equipment.
• Knowledge of welding processes and ASME codes.
• Understanding of lubrication and mechanical systems.

Responsabilidades

• Identifies, recommends and implements repairs of stationary and rotating equipment with manufacturers and outside shops.
• Performs predictive maintenance on production equipment.
• Develops standard equipment specs and repair procedures for critical systems.
• Assists in installation of new equipment and documents work.
• Collaborates with Maintenance Supervisors to plan inspection and maintenance schedules.
• Monitors projects and external contractors in line with site regulations.
• Supports RC Management System implementation per RC14001 requirements.
