Cabot Corporation, at the Altamira site in Tamaulipas, seeks a Mechanical Maintenance Engineer to identify, recommend and implement repairs of stationary and rotating equipment. You will conduct predictive maintenance, help develop equipment specifications, assist with new equipment installation, and support documentation.

Collaborate with supervisors to optimize inspection schedules, review mechanical and electrical specs, and ensure compliance with safety standards and RC systems.

Formación

• Knowledge of confined space entry, lockout/tag-out, and hot-work permitting.
• Strong mechanical aptitude with hands-on maintenance experience.
• Background in welding, rotating equipment, and lubrication basics.
• Familiarity with ASME codes and standards.

Responsabilidades

• Identifies, recommends and implements equipment repairs of stationary and rotating equipment by working with manufacturers, OEMs and outside repair shops.
• Conducts production equipment predictive maintenance.
• Develops standard new equipment specifications and repair procedures for equipment in critical applications.
• Assists in the installation of new equipment.
• Supports and implement new product and process runs and prepare relevant documentation.
• Works closely with Maintenance Supervisor/Manager or Maintenance Planners to identify trends and contributes to inspection and maintenance schedules.
• Monitors maintenance projects and progress, external contractors in accordance with site regulations and standards.
• Supports efforts to implement and maintain the RC14001 compliance.
