Corning Incorporated is seeking a Maintenance Engineer to ensure the reliability and performance of manufacturing equipment. You will support preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance while driving continuous improvement to maximize uptime, process stability, product quality, and capacity.

You will provide technical support, analyze failures, and lead root cause investigations with a focus on equipment reliability and efficiency in a dynamic manufacturing environment.

Formación

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Mechatronics, Electrical, Industrial, Automation Engineering or related field.
• 2–4 years of experience in a similar maintenance role.
• Experience supporting manufacturing equipment in production environments.
• Knowledge of equipment troubleshooting methodologies.
• Ability to interpret technical drawings, equipment manuals and maintenance documentation.
• English proficiency for technical communication and supplier interaction.

Responsabilidades

We are looking for a Maintenance Engineer to ensure the reliability, availability, and performance of manufacturing equipment while supporting continuous improvement initiatives in production. This role supports preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance strategies while driving continuous improvement initiatives to maximize equipment uptime, process stability, product quality, and manufacturing capacity.

What is your role?

As a Maintenance Engineer, you will provide technical support for manufacturing equipment, drive equipment reliability, and help reduce downtime through preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance strategies.

Major responsibilities and tasks
