Job summary

Amazon Operations in Mexico seeks a Maintenance Area Manager for the Reliability Maintenance Engineering team. You will lead a team of technicians, drive safety, coach staff, and ensure preventative maintenance keeps equipment available.

The role partners with Site Safety and Leadership, develops training, organizes local projects, and supports shift coverage to maintain high performance across Fulfillment Centers and delivery networks.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of Reliability Program Manager or equivalent experience.
• 4+ years of industrial maintenance experience.
• 2+ years of direct leadership/supervisory experience.
• 2+ years of CMMS experience.
• 2+ years of Microsoft Office products experience.
• Work flexible schedules including weekends, nights, and holidays.
• Bachelor's degree.
• Experience in English-language communication skills, both written and verbal.

Maintenance Area Manager, Amazon Reliability Maintenance Engineering - IntlRME

We are looking for motivated, customer-focused people who want to join our team as a Reliability Maintenance Engineering Area Manager. The Reliability Maintenance Engineering Area Manager is the line manager for a team of technicians. They maintain the focus on safety by training, developing and coaching their team. They deliver a high level of equipment availability by ensuring all preventative maintenance is conducted and internal processes and procedures are followed.

Join us in the Amazon Reliability Maintenance Engineering team. We maintain and optimize technologies in the Global Amazon Warehouse & Delivery Network.

Key job responsibilities

• Lead, support and mentor the team, ensuring they are working in a safe, standard and efficient manner.
• Work with the team and the wider network to harness the technical expertise available and build solutions.
• Support the Reliability Engineering Manager as they work with the Site Safety department & Site Leadership to implement, record and audit safety and statutory compliance programs to
• Implement network standards and focus on preventative maintenance to provide a high level of equipment availability to our internal customers.
• Ensure sufficient technical coverage is available for the shifts they own by organizing and directing the training program for the team.
• Organize local projects or support BR level projects as assigned by the manager.
• Be prepared to work on shift to maintain a strong connection to the team and daily work.

Basic Qualifications

- 5+ years of Reliability Program Manager or equivalent experience

- 4+ years of industrial maintenance experience

- 2+ years of direct leadership/supervisory experience

- 2+ years of Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS) experience

- 2+ years of Microsoft Office products and applications experience

- Work flexible schedules including weekends, nights, and holidays

- Bachelor\'s degree

- Experience in English-language communication skills, both written and verbal

Preferred Qualifications

- 5+ years of team management, budget responsibilities, supplier management, problem solving, and client/ customer relations experience

- Master\'s degree, or Six Sigma Black Belt certification

- Experience with preventive maintenance procedures, industrial electrical, industrial controls, and industrial electronics & robotics

- Experience working with Material Handling Equipment (MHE) integrators

- Experience in project management

- Experience with statistical analysis
