Amazon Mexico Operations seeks a Reliability Maintenance Engineering Planner to lead CMMS, manage asset and spares, and plan preventative maintenance to ensure high equipment availability for internal customers.

You will serve as the CMMS site lead, train the engineering team, and align activities with IntlRME standards while participating in improvement projects and reporting requirements. The role supports operations across multiple facilities.

Formación

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field.
• 2+ years of maintenance or engineering experience, or reliability/maintenance environments.
• 1+ years of CMMS experience.
• MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) proficiency.
• Experience reading and writing procedures and engineering drawings.
• Experience in English-language communication, written and verbal.
• 3+ years as a maintenance planner/scheduler in industrial maintenance, manufacturing or distribution.
• CMMS experience or reliability/maintenance environments.
• Operations or inventory management experience.
• Process improvements with automation and KPIs.
• Project management or vendor management experience.
• PMP certification or 1+ years of predictive/preventive maintenance procedures experience.

Responsabilidades

• Be the site SME on the CMMS, train local engineering team, escalate to Global team.
• Ensure CMMS aligns with IntlRME standards and participate in projects to roll out functionality, procedures, scheduling, or reports.
• Ensure site equipment, spare parts, and minimum holding levels are recorded to prevent part shortages.
• Ensure CMMS forecasts and assigns required preventative maintenance to technicians for high equipment availability.
• Compile equipment information, performance metrics, and machine histories to drive improvements.
• Manage spare parts stock levels and track orders; collaborate with procurement and BR network to find savings or efficiencies.

Maintenance Engineering Planner, Reliability Maintenance Engineering

We are looking for motivated, customer-focused people who want to join our team as a Reliability Maintenance Engineering Planner. The Reliability Maintenance Engineering Planner is responsible for asset and spares management, preventative maintenance planning and machine history data. They are the site lead for the CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management System) software and are required to extract information from it to support the site engineering manager.

Key job responsibilities

• - Be the site level SME (Subject Matter Expert) on the CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management System) software, train the local engineering team in its use and escalate issues as required to the Global team.
• - Ensure the system is run in line with IntlRME standards and participate in IntlRME coordinated projects and improvement programs to roll out new functionality, procedures, scheduling or reports.
• - Ensure site level equipment, spare parts and minimum holding levels are correctly recorded in the system in order to ensure technicians are never without the parts they need.
• - Ensure the system accurately forecasts and assigns all required preventative maintenance to technicians within the team to provide a high level of equipment availability to our internal customers.
• - Compile equipment information, performance metrics and machine histories and make recommendations for improvements based on their findings.
• - Manage spare parts stock levels, place and track orders as required. Work with procurement and the wider BR network to find savings or efficiencies.

Basic Qualifications

• - Bachelor's degree
• - 2+ years of maintenance or engineering experience, or experience in reliability/maintenance environments
• - 1+ years of Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS) experience
• - Experience in computer skills, including proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
• - Experience reading and writing procedures, technical documents, and engineering drawings
• - Experience in English-language communication skills, both written and verbal

Preferred Qualifications

• - 3+ years of maintenance planner/scheduler in industrial maintenance, manufacturing, or distribution industries experience
• - Experience working with CMMS software, or experience in reliability/maintenance environments
• - Experience in operations or inventory management
• - Experience in creating process improvements with automation and analysis, or experience applying key financial performance indicators (KPIs) to analyses
• - Experience in project management, or experience in vendor management
• - Project Management Professional (PMP) certification, or 1+ years of conducting predictive and preventative maintenance procedures experience
